Olivia, how are you? How are you? Today, I'm here at the White House to encourage younger people to get vaccinated. I'm just so honored to be here. It's just so incredible. I just feel really lucky. How cool. That is where the Oval Office is. Yes, yes, yes. So how are you doing? I'm so great. It's such an honor to be here. I've been having the best day. It has been a fabulous day. That's great. So cool! Hey, I'm Olivia Rodrigo, and I'm here with President Biden talking about the importance of getting vaccinated. It's critical, especially people of Olivia's age. Thank you for coming. Thank you for having us. Get vaccinated for the people you love because they don't want to lose you. Yeah. You know. That's so powerful. I love that. Yeah. Here she is. We just wanted to say hi. Hi. How are you? Thank you so much for coming to the briefing today. So nice to meet you. So nice to meet you. And thank you for using your voice. So excited for today. I'm -- we're excited, too. You come right now with me. You can stand right with me. I'll do the short introduction, and then I'll turn over to you. I've got to talk at a White House briefing with Jen Psaki, which is absolutely insane. I have a special guest with me today. Joining us in the briefing room is actress and multi-platinum recording singer-songwriter, Olivia Rodrigo. Hi. First, I want to say I am beyond honored and humbled to be here today to help spread the message about the importance of youth vaccination. Thank you, Jen, for having me today. And thank you all for helping share this important message. It's so appreciated. Thank you. Oh, my God. Good job. Good job. Wow. Thank you, guys, so much. So, so cool to get to like speak at the podium. And Jen was so sweet and made me feel so welcome. I did a little bit of a press briefing with Jen, which was actually insane. And I was so nervous, but I think it went well. How many people under 18 do you think have gotten vaccinated already? The larger proportion of the people under 18 are not vaccinated. We really want to get that level way up. We want to make sure they're the ones that are out there getting vaccinated themselves, as well as talking it up with their friends. Right. Well, I just got to meet Dr. Fauci, and I think he's incredible and an absolute legend, so it was so cool to get to shake his hand and pick his brain. It's so important to get vaccinated even if you're young and healthy and not at risk. Vaccines help our bodies learn how to fight off viruses. Vaccines help everyone. Just because you're not particularly at risk doesn't mean that people close to you aren't. It's really the compassionate thing to do. I'm definitely going to be remembering this for, like, my whole life. All right. You ready? Ready.
